Dies At Delphi
DELPHI — Mrs. James A.
Goff, 93, East Monroe St., died
at 11 p.m. Sunday at the Fix
Nursing home, where she had
been a patient for five days
after suffering a stroke ten days
ago.
Born Feb. 3, 1872, in Montgomery
county, she was the
daughter of John and Clara
Clement O'Haver. Her marriage
to James A. Goff was on Aug.
8, 1911.
She was a member of the
Methodist church here, and a
fifty-year member of the Rose
chapter of the Eastern Star. She
had lived at Delphi for the last
53 years. Until her illness she
had been active in the Delphi
Woman's club and the Neighborhood
Bridge club.
Survivors include a step-son,
Ernest L. Goff, Delphi; three
grandchildren and four greatgrand
children.
Funeral services will be at 2
p.m. Wednesday at the Delphi
Methodist church. The Rev.
Lynn-will officiate and burial
will be in the Masonic cemetery.
Friends may call at the Jackson
funeral home after noon
hour before services
Tuesday and at the church an
hour before services.
