Elva Hughtes O'Donnell Karg of Mount Holly, passed away October 25th, 2007 at her residence. She was 92.
Born in Vincentown, NJ on April 13, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Bessie Henry O'Donnell and Harry O'Donnell. Mrs. Karg had
formerly worked in sales for the 5 & 10 in Mount Holly, had worked as a welder at the Camden Shipyard, worked for Reems in Burlington and last worked as a weaver for Alexander Plush in Mount Holly. She volunteered for the Ladies Auxiliary at Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, and was a member of the Medford Senior Citizens and Hainesport Senior Citizens Clubs.
Wife of the late Reginald E. Karg, who passed away in 1999. She is survived by her son, David L. Karg of Mount Holly and by her daughter, Barbara J. Karg Kowalski and her son-in-law, Edward B. Kowalski of WV. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Donna L. Karg Sullivan, John S. Karg, E. Brian Kowalski, David I. Kowalski, and Jason E. Kowalski; by twelve great-grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren and by many nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her children, Donald M. Karg, Frederick R. Karg, and Regina E. Karg.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, November 1st at 11 AM at the Mount Holly Cemetery, Ridgway St. and Mount Holly Ave., Mount Holly. There will be no calling hours.
