Angela M. Dorman O'Connor, 60, of Nederland, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011. She was born February 5, 1950, in Port Arthur to Josie Mae Miller and James Floyd Dorman and had been a life-long resident of the area. Angela was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and enjoyed crocheting.

She devoted her life to caring for her family and her feelings regarding such can best be described in her own quoted words. "She loved being a mother, loved being a grandmother to her wonderful grandchildren, loved being a mother-in-law to Robbie and Margie and loved everyone dearly."

Angela is survived by her daughter, Vicki Long and her husband Robert of Plano; son, Shannon O'Connor and his wife Margie of Nederland; grandchildren, Hannah, Kourtney, Britni, Christopher, Tiffaney and John-Triston; mother, Josie Mae Dorman of Port Arthur; sister, Jennifer Jenkins and her husband Keith of Groves; and lots of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Keith O'Connor; father, James Floyd Dorman; and brother, Dennis James Dorman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches under the direction of Broussard's, 505 12th Street, Nederland. A gathering of her family friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Christian Vigil beginning at 6:00 p.m., Monday, February 7, 2011, at Broussard's.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Neches Federal Credit Union branch, c/o Account #1005018.
