OBITUARY
Mrs. Eugenia Blackburn was born June 26, 1849, was born again in August 1870 and united with the M.E. Church South, at Bethel. Her maiden name was Nunnelly. She was married to Mr. J. R. Blackburn October 13, 1870, and died of pneumonia February 22, 1880. Her husband and four children with a large circle of relatives and friends are left to lament her departure. She has finished her work and fallen asleep.
Asleep in Jesus, blessed sleep
From which none ever wake to weep
Watch therefore, for ye know not what
hour you Lord doth come.
