Death Notice:
A telegram from Macon Times-Democrat, 17th reports a terrible death from hydrophobia in Noxubee county. Little Lula Nuckols, a bright, beautiful girl of eleven years, daughter of J.T. Nuckols, was bitten by a rabid dog some time in September. In thirty days from the time
she was bitten,she was taken sick and strong symptoms of hydrophobia were manifested, which changed rapidly into a well developed case. Drs. Hall and Featherston, both skillful physicians, were in attendance. This is the second death from this cause that has occurred near Macon. Parties from the country report mad dogs as numerous.
