Winifred F. (Noyes) DeVille, 91, passed away January 4, 2013. Winnie was born September 16, 1921 in Providence, RI. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 50 years, Dewey DeVille, and her parents Lester W. and Fannie Noyes. She was a member of People's Baptist Church, Cranston, RI. She was a resident of the North Florida area since 1959. Over the years she enjoyed family activities like boating, fishing, swimming, skiing, and bowling. She also liked to crochet and embroider. Her favorite hobbies were scrapbooking and genealogy. Winnie was a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants, a descendant of Richard Warren who came over on the Mayflower. She was an accountant and retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield. She was a charter member of the D-Day Museum in New Orleans, LA. She is survived by her children: Thomas DeVille (Gerry) Penney Farms, Judith D. Fessler (Chuck) Jacksonville, Janet D. Rhodes, Jacksonville, and Les W. DeVille (Vickie), Callahan, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren (2 more on the way) and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington, MA. Arrangements by Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home and Cremaion Services, SR 16, 1811 Idlewild Ave., Green Cove Springs.
