Mrs. Hudson

Mrs. Frances Noxon Hudson, widow of Charles A. Hudson, Syracuse wholesale grocer and philanthropist, died this morning at her home, 524 West Genesee Street, less than two months after the death of her husband.
Mrs.Hudson had been in failing health for several years. She was a native Syracusan and a daughter of the late Supreme Court Justice James Noxon and Mrs. Elizabeth Cadwell Noxon.
Mr. Hudson died on Dec. 19. Mrs. Hudson was a charter member of the Portfolio Club and the Kanatenah Club, and a life member of the Onondaga Historical Association. Mrs. Hudson also had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church for many years.
Surviving her are three sisters, Mrs. C. L. Munger of Syracuse, Mrs. Leslie Nichols of Yahami, Wash., and Mrs. George Portman of Greenfield, Mass; and three brothers, James Noxon of Syracuse, Frank W. Noxon of Washington, and B. Davis Noxon of Tampa, Fla.
The Rev. Dr. John S. MacDonald, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will conduct funeral services privately at the home in West Genesee Street at 11 o'clock Monday morning. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
