Anthony T. Novitsky, 82, of Milnesville died Wednesday at his residence. He was born in Hazleton, son of the late Anthony and Helen (Maychak) Novitsky. Anthony was a member of Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Drums. A veteran, he served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Prior to retiring four years ago, Anthony was a Pennsylvania-certified residential appraiser and was a partner in Prudential Landmark Associates with his son, Robert. He worked for the Beryllium Corp., where he was union president, and a land manager for Yamulla Enterprises at Lake Harmony. He was a founding member of the Hazle Township Little League Association and a member of the West Hazleton Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert, and a sister, Joan Unger.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., 542 N. Wyoming St., Hazleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd R.C. Church. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
