Agnes (Honey) Novitsky, 82, of 563 Pardee St., Hazleton, died Thursday morning at Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hazle­ton, where she had been a guest. She was born in Hazleton, a daughter of the late John and Susan (Kubishin) Zarko, and was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton. Prior to retiring, she was employed in the local garment industry for a time.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were brothers and sisters, Bernard, Emily Pelly, Irene Zions, Gertrude Conrad and John Jr.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from Fier­ro Funeral Home, 26 W. Sec­ond St., Hazleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Ss. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Hazleton. Interment will be in Cal­vary Cemetery, Drums. Friends and relatives may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fierro Funeral Home. Donations to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pitts­field, MA 01202, or www.leukemia-lymphoma.org, would be appreciated by the family.
