Lillian Beauchamp

SALISBURY -- Lillian Leigh Nottingham Beauchamp, 86, of Salisbury died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Eastville, she was a daughter of the late Kirby Hood Nottingham Sr. and Myrtle Muse Nottingham.

She was a graduate of Wicomico High School in Salisbury. In 1958 she joined her late husband, Earl T. Beauchamp, at Salisbury Office Supply and Salisbury Business Machines, which he founded in 1948. After his death in 1963, she continued operations until her retirement in September 1994. She deeply loved her family and friends, sewing, gardening and all kids and animals. She will be greatly missed by all of us who knew her for her generosity, warmth and compassion.

She is survived by her son, Terry Beauchamp, a daughter, Janis Pearson, and two grandchildren, Phillip Eskridge and Kim Gibbs, all of Salisbury; four great-grandchildren, Amber Eskridge, Dale Gibbs, Chris Wilson and Kymbre Schoofield; two brothers, Gray Nottingham in West Virginia and Bob Nottingham in Nevada; two sisters, Jackie Bickell of Salisbury and Jeanette Barthmaier of Doylestown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Kirby Nottingham Jr., Wesley Nottingham, A.J. Nottingham and Bill Nottingham; and one sister, Evelyn Seaman.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Jerry Gray and Tommy Klaverweiden. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron.

Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home at 501 Snow Hill Road in Salisbury. Visit www.delmarvaobits.com to express condolences to the family.
