Mrs. Rosa M. (Mamie) Jeans Passed Away

"Rosa Mae, daughter of Tom and Molly Norvell, was born August 27, 1880 in Linn County, Missouri and departed this life at Leewood Manor in Milan, Mo., February 5, 1972.

She was united in marriage to Silas Bartow, January 15, 1899, who preceded her in death in 1951. To this union three children were born; Bessie, who died in 1918, Thomas I. Bartow of Browning and S. J. Bartow of Browning. Other survivors are the daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

She was married to Albert H. Jeans, October 21, 1959. He passed away in Nov. 1968.

She united with the Methodist church at an early age and was an active member.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, February 7, 1972, at 2 p.m. at the Browning United Methodist church, Rev. Robert Darby, officiating. Soloist Junius Mundell with Mrs. J. T. Nevins, organist.

Casket bearers were her grandsons. Interment was made in the Haseville cemetery under the direction of Wade Funeral Home."
