Mrs. Norton
Mrs. Amelia Streit Norton, of Town Creek, died Monday at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home in Florence.
She was a native of Iowa, wife of the late David Norton, and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Schaeffner of Minneapolis, Minn.; a grandson, Lt. David Schaeffner of Lompoc, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Mary Buell of Rt. 1, Sheffield.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Town Creek United Methodist Church, Rev. Tommy Heaps officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetry in Town Creek, Morrison-Elkins Funeral Home of Tuscumbia directing.
Pallbearers will be William Lee, Price Carter, Johnny Kerr, Clifford Brackin, Albert Ferguson, and Lewis Sanderson.
The body will be at Morrison-Elkins Funeral Home until one hour before services, when it will be placed in the church.
