William Northern, Jr., a retired resident of Port Allen and native of New Orleans, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 59.
Visiting at Hall's Celebration Center until religious service. Interment at Lady of Knight Cemetery, Port Allen.
He is survived by a daughter, Kim J. Northern; a son, William Northern III; sisters, Claudette Payne, Trencia Henderson, Lucy N. Russell, Renee N. Cain, Alenthea N. Moore and Nisha Northern; brothers, Perry W. Northern and Edward Northern; a special loving friend, Rita Carter; three grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Northern Sr.; mother, Isabelle M. Northern; brother, Kevin B. Northern; sister, Stephany G. Northern; and grandparents.
