Dell Thomas North, 94, of Lake City, Florida, died on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Haven Hospice. She was the daughter of Stiles and Carrie Raulerson Thomas. She was a lifelong resident of Lake City and a charter member of the North Lake City Church of God. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, and cooking. She made quilts for all of her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John Roy North. She is also preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest , Woodrow, and Parker Thomas; two sisters, Elizabeth Mershon and Lucretia "Creasy" Register, all of Lake City. She is survived by two sisters, Ermon Spradley and Eunice Davenport of Lake City; one daughter, Betty (Shuffield) Spradley, two sons, Russell (Jean) North and Emerson (Cindy) North, all of Lake City. Eleven grandchildren, Twenty great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild also survive.
