HAMILTON | Nelda Norris Harrison, age 76, of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Consult America Nursing Home in Carbon Hill.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Harrison (Rochelle) of Hamilton and Jackie Harrison (Landra) of Orange Field, Texas; a daughter, Barbara Cooper (Kenneth) of Hamilton; seven grandchildren, Britney Cooper (Logan Swinney), Kenya Cooper, Haley Harrison, Tyler Harrison, Mattie Harrison, Lanny Harrison, and Katie Burns (Don); three great- grandchildren, Lanna Harrison, Jacob Harrison, and Lauren Donovan; two sisters, Dean Cochran and Grace Pridmore (James); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 23, at 3 p.m. from the Hamilton First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery near Haleyville with Eddie Davidson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, at the church, from 1 p.m. until time of service. Miles Funeral Home of Winfield, directing.
