Death Summons Mrs. C. G. Norris

Funeral services will be held from the Hennessey Funeral Home in Spokane, Washington, at 2 o'clock tomorrow (Friday) afternoon for Anna Julia Norris, wife of Cecil G. Norris of Calistoga.

Mrs. Norris died Sunday afternoon, at about 2:15, in the Calistoga Hospital, after having had a heart attack the preceding Thursday. Although she had suffered for 13 years with a serious heart ailment, the last attack came very unexpectedly.

A native of Iowa, Mrs. Norris was 61 years of age. Her residence in Calistoga covered about 11 years. Coming here first in 1935, she remained here until 1942, then lived in Spokane for about four years, and four years ago returned to Calistoga to make her home. She was a member of Bethel Chapel, local Gospel Assembly.

Friends in Calistoga paid their last respects to Mrs. Norris at the Simic Funeral Home from 2 o'clock Monday afternoon to 2 o'clock Tuesday. The body, accompanied by Mrs. Pearl Sims, was then sent to Spokane for final rites. Driving north from here were Mrs. Norris' son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nolasco, and a granddaughter, Miss Beverly Nolasco.

Interment will be made in the family plot in Fairmont Cemetery, Spokane.

Mrs. Norris is survived by her husband, Cecil G. Norris, and the following children; Jerrine Nolasco of Calistoga, Marie Witter and Edna Chestnut, both of Spokane, Laurence E. Cannon of Spokane, and Robert Cannon of Pasco, Wash. Three grandchildren in Calistoga are Barbara, Beverly, and Charline Nolasco. There are also 19 other grandchildren in Washington.

Two sisters and three brothers are also among the surviving near relatives. They are Mary E. Harvey of Illinois, Celestia L. Noel of Hilmer, Calif., Frank Harlow of Clarks, Nebr., Grover Harlow of Tacoma, Wash., and David Harlow of Spokane.
