AZLE - Marilyn Norman Benson, 67, retired co-owner and operator of Benson Glove and Safety Equipment, passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at an Azle hospital.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Burial: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Ed Norman, David Norman, Tommy Norman, Doug Norman, Chris Smith and Ken McCallister.

Marilyn Norman Benson was born Dec. 13, 1931, in Fort Worth and graduated from Paschal High School. She was married to "the love of her life," M.W.E. "Bill" Benson, on Dec. 3, 1949. She was a "very special" person in the lives of her husband, children, grandchildren and all who knew her.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Dr. Marshall C. Morrison for his special attention and kindness to Mrs. Benson and the family through difficult times.

Survivors: Her husband of 49 years, Bill Benson of Azle; daughters, Suzi Hanna of Azle, Patti McCallister and her husband, Ken, of North Richland Hills and Diane Feemster and her husband, Alan, of Azle; sons, Bill Benson and his wife, Nancy, of Denton, Scott Benson and his wife, Vicki, of Ringwood, N.J., and Keith Benson and his wife, Barbara, of Azle; brother and sister-in-law, Charles B. and Margie Norman of Dallas; sister-in-law, Nita Benson of Brandon, Miss.; sister-in-law andbrother-in-law, Charlene and Jim Smith of Burleson; 18 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
