He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Dale worked at the Springfield News-Leader for 28 years in advertising. He was also a well-respected car dealer for many years, working at Springfield Lincoln Mercury, and after retiring, he owned his own car lot, Immaculate Motor Cars in Springfield, Missouri.
Dale enjoyed laughter with family and friends, excelled at multiple sports, and he pulled for his Royals and the KC Chiefs.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; his children: Craig Norman, Kerry Norman, Scott and Tricia Taylor, Ashlea Norman, "Mickey" Ray and Nicole Norman, and Beau Norman; grandchildren: Terra Norman, Luke Taylor, Reagan Taylor, Sebastian Norman, and Mia Norman; and great-grandson, Kaden Hawkins; a brother, Donald Norman. He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother: Blake Norman.
Burial at Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
