Zelma G. Noonen, 90, of Princeville died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at OSF St. Clare in Peoria Heights.

Born Dec. 10, 1911, in Princeville to Lyle H. and Sarah E. Burns Bouton, she married Michael Clement Noonen. He died Sept. 3, 1962, in Princeville.

She also was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Noonen; one daughter, Doris Cramer; two sisters; one brother; and one granddaughter.

Surviving are one son, Bill (and Beverly) of Princeville; four daughters, Marilyn (and Don) Dell of Princeville, and Joan (and Dick) Schmitt, Nancy (and Rich) Schaub and Caryl (and John) Hanley, all of Kickapoo; two brothers, Donald (and Geneva) Bouton of Pekin and Daryl (and Minnie) Bouton of Peoria Heights; and two sisters, Wilma Fairhurst of Bartonville and Helen Begner of Dunlap.

She worked as a janitor at Princeville High School before retiring in 1980.

She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Historical Association of Princeville.

Burial will be in St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery.
