Daisy Holden Nolley, 84, a homemaker, died Saturday, May 24, 1997, in Arlington.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Starts at Noon Monday. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.
Daisy Nolley was born April 13, 1913, in Greenwood, Ark.
She was a dormitory hostess at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Ark. for 10 years. She was a house parent at State Children Home in Corsicana. She was preceded in death by husbands, Geoffrey Holden and Edward Nolley.
Survivors: Sons, Doug Holden and wife, Francis of Colleyville, Jim Holden and wife, Kay of Hot Springs, Ark.; daughter, Joyce Haynes and husband, Chester of Grand Prairie; brother, Jack Peninger of Pinehurst, Idaho; sisters, Elva Scott of Oceanside, Calif., Helen Brown of Broken Bow, Okla.; and grandchildren, Phyllis Haynes, Kathy Beasley, both of Dallas, Derek Holden of Wilson, Jill Holden of Paradise, Jennifer Holden of Hot Springs, Ark. and Dawn Sandbu of Bedford.
