Mrs. Ida Ann Campbell Veazey, 81, of Hamburg died Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at her residence in Hamburg. Mrs. Veazey was a native and life long resident of Hamburg. She graduated from Hamburg High School and attended the Touro School of Nursing in New Orleans. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church having served as choir director and organist for many years. She was a servant to her family, her friends and her community. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Billy Veazey in 2006 and Bruin Campbell in 1981; her parents, Guy & Louise Sanders Nolley. She is survived by her children, Susanne Hall and husband, Robert Sr., of North Little Rock and Jane Ellen Evans of Metairie, LA, Louis Campbell and wife, Ila Sue, of Fayetteville, Stanton Veazey and wife, Kim, of Hamburg and Howard Veazey of Memphis; two brothers, James S. (Bubba) Nolley of Crossett and Rev. Don Nolley of North Little Rock; nine grandchildren Stephen Smith, Christopher & David Lewis, Anna Evans, Shepherd, Steadman & Caroline Campbell, Lauren & Crews Veazey; six great-grandchildren Tanner & Lexi Blassingame, Hayley Johnson, Alexandria, Brooke & Jackson Hall. Memorial services are 11 a.m., Saturday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. David A. Moore officiating. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Annie Pryor Sunday School Class of the First United Methodist Church. A private burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hamburg High School Scholarship Fund, PO Box 30, Hamburg, AR or to the First United Methodist Church, 202 South Main Street, Hamburg, AR 71646.
