Mrs. Lounell English, age 95 of Benton, KY passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY.
Born Thursday, May 4, 1922 in Benton, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hayes Noles and the late Isabelle (Parker) Noles. She was a homemaker and a member of the Briensburg Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 73 years, Joe Bill English of Benton, KY, her daughter, Linda Van Steenbergen, husband Mike of Calvert City, KY, four grandchildren; Mark Story, fiance' Melynda Sheppard of Benton, KY, Andrew Story, wife Stacey of Calvert City, KY, Seth Story, wife Kim of Benton, KY, Aaron Story, wife Danyele of Benton, KY. Also surviving are twelve great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.
Mrs. English was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Paul Lawrence Noles and Albert Noles, three sisters, Virginia E. Higgins, Dorothy Denfip and Aline Gregory.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. C.C. Brasher and Rev. Brad Walker will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Briensburg Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
