The death of Mrs. Mary T. Kinsella, for 50 years a resident of San Rafael, came as a sad blow Wednesday morning to her many friends in the county. Mrs Kinsella was the widow of the late Richard Kinsella, San Rafael's mayor 20 years ago, and who started the plumbing business which members of the family still operate.
Mrs. Kinsella was 77 years old, a native of Ireland, and one of San Rafael's pioneer settlers.
She and her sister, the late Mrs. Johnson, came to San Rafael in the 70's.
She was the mother of Misses Katherine and Evelyn Kinsella, John Kinsella, and the late Richard and Fred Kinsella.
A mass will be said for the deceased Friday morning at 9:30 in St. Raphael's Church. Her body lies in the family home at 732 Mission Street. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
