John P. Noce April 20, 2003

John P. Noce, 83, of New Port Richey, FL, died April 20 at Community Hospital in New Port Richey, FL. He was born in and lived in Solvay most of his life before moving to Florida 20 years ago. He was a Work Leader in the Knealing Department at Crucible Steel for 36 years, retiring in 1978, He belonged to the United Steelworkers Union #1277. He was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church.

Survivors: his wife of 62 years, the former Alice Scaia; a daughter Terry Frank of Camillus; three sons, Phillip A. Noce of Maryland, John E. Noce of Akron, NY, and Ronald H. Noce of S. Carolina; one brother Alexander Noce of Elbridge; two sisters, Angela Anthony of Warners and Mary DeCirce of Baldwinsville; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services are Friday at 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church. Private burial is in Assumption Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
