Mrs. Bowden was a longtime resident of Oak Grove where she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oak Grove. Mrs. Clara Mae is fondly known as Oak Grove Tigers number one fan. She loved to support Oak Grove High School Athletics. She was a member of the West Carroll Hospital Ladies Auxillary.
She was preceded in death by her father: George W. Noble; and mother: Rose R. Noble; and husband: Cliff Bowden.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Noble and Patty Bowden; daughters and sons-in-law: Liz and Reeves Layne and Beverly and John DiBattista; brothers: Bill Noble and George Noble; sister: Jean Warren; and special friends: Clem and Don Mathews; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
