Kirby, Mrs. Sarah Ann (Sallie)

Died Thursday morning at Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary. She was 85, a native and resident of Zachary. Body at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. when a short prayer will be said. Funeral services at Sandy Creek Baptist Church at 4:30 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Revs. J. W. Logan and Jessie Norris. Burial in Sandy Creek Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Leonard L. Kirby, Milldale; a sister, Gertrude Croft, Milldale; a brother, Lee Roy Noble, Milldale; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Grandchildren will act as pallbearers. She was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Pride.
