Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Eastland City Cemetery under the direction of
Bakker Funeral Home of Eastland. There is no set visitation but Olene will lie
in state at Bakker Funeral Home until the service on Monday.
Olene was born September 30, 1925 in Eastland County to Roger and Lillie Price
Noble and spent her whole life in Eastland County. She is a graduate of Cisco
High School. Olene was quite the softball player in her youth having played on
several teams until she met and married the love of her life J.T. Berry. After
marriage Olene became a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was all about her
family and creating a loving and secure home for the family. Olene loved country
music and loved to go dancing whenever she could with her husband. She also had
a passion for anything red including clothes and home décor. She was also a true
chocoholic.
Olene is preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Lillie Noble, her precious
husband J.T. Berry and her dear daughter Linda Roberson. She is also preceded by
two brothers Clarence Noble and Melvin Noble.
She is survived by one son Roger Berry and wife Kay of Blanchard, OK, three
grandchildren: Lisa Justice and husband Chris of Eastland, Leslie Wood and
husband Bud of Cisco, and Jason Berry and wife Jana of Blanchard, OK, 6 great
grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
