"Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated yesterday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport, Md., for Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Niland, 58, of 429 Pratt Street, Luke, Md., who died Friday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md., where she was a patient in the hospice unit. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Boal Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Born in Piedmont, she was a daughter of the late Hugh Kidwell and Anna (Hook) Kidwell.

Mrs. Niland was a retired clerk at the Devon Club in Luke and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husbnd, Leo Niland; two brothers, Francis H. Kidwell, Luke and Eugene Kidwell, Libertyville, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Beeman, Piedmont and Mrs. Rose Richards, Baltimore, Md., and several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to Sacred Heart Hospital hospice unit."
