Mrs. P.B. Nicklaus funeral
to be held Friday morning
Funeral services for Mrs. Peter B. Nicklaus will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Friday morning at 9:30 with a Requiem High Mass. The rosary will be said at the Mrs. George Nicklaus home where the body will lay in state, at 8 o'clock Thursday evening.
Mrs. Peter B. Nicklaus died at St. Francis hospital in Waterloo Tuesday forenoon caused by a ruptured appendix and complications. She had underwent an operation for the ruptured appendix on Thursday and gave birth to a girl Friday morning. The baby, christened Mary Margaret, lived only a day. The little one was buried in St. Patrick's cemetery here Monday morning. She leaves her husband, three sons and one daughter to mourn her loss. Obituary will be in next week's Eclipse.

Obituary of Mrs. Peter B. Nicklaus
Mrs. Peter B. Nicklaus, nee Agnes Josephine Heger was born April 28, 1909 at Madelia, Minn. where she spent her girlhood attending Mater Dolorosa school and graduating from Madelia High School in 1926.
She was united in marriage to Peter B. Nicklaus, Feb. 15, 1929 at Mater Dolorosa church in Madelia, Minn., Rev. Father Byron performing the ceremony. Since that time she has made a home for her family in or near
Parkersburg, for a number of years living at their farm home. She was loving and painstaking in her work of caring for her family -- her husband and the children: Gerard, 13, Georgia, 11, Romaine 9 and Justin 6. One child Mary Margaret died March 25, 1944 the day after her birth at St. Francis Hospital in Waterloo, where Mrs. Nicklaus passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 1944.
In addition to her husband, she leaves three brothers, Joseph and John Heger of LaSalle, Minn., Ludwig at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and her mother, Mrs. L.K. Heger of Madelia, Minnesota.
Mrs. Nicklaus lived a home life to emulate and her death was an edification. Requiem High Mass was sung at St. Patrick's church Friday morning, March 31 by the Rev. Father Cassidy, who also delivered a comforting sermon. Interment was in Saint Patrick's cemetery.
Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Delmer Peach and Miss Ila Buschow, Waseca, Minn.; Mrs. L.K. Heger, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Heger and Mr. and Mrs. John Heger of Madelia, Minn.;
Mrs. F.G. Nicklaus, Rochelle, Ill.; Mrs. Kate Angstman and Rev. Father McKinley of Wiliams, Iowa; Miss Margaret Cramer, Waterloo, and Mrs. A. Sinram and Mrs. Lloyd Sinram of Clarksville.
