Eileen Grefer
GREFER, Eileen Age 70 of Dayton, passed away January 22, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Grefer in 1975. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Anna Nickel and two sisters, Orlene Johnson and Roberta Campbell. She is survived by seven children, three sons: Steve Grefer and wife Cindy of Kettering, Tim Grefer and wife Patricia of Tipp City and Glenn Grefer of Centerville and Julie Grefer; four daughters: Cynthia and husband Roy Ball of Riverside, Va Linda and husband Greg Schnieders of AZ, Wanda and husband Mark Chambers of Kettering and Tammie and husband Jeff Helton of Grove City. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren: Sandy, Diona (Travis), Amy (Levi), Christina (Kyle), Yunea, Lauren, Nathan, Danny, Brittany, Ryan, Kelsea, Ashley, Kyle, Tracy, Christina, Delayna and William, and three great-grandchildren: Crystal, Craig and Quinn. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Jane Burgess and husband John and a brother, Jim Nickel and wife Connie as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and her best friend, Rosie Combs. Eileen was a member of East Dayton Christian Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a gracious and devoted woman who successfully raised a large family on her own following her husband's untimely passing; her children and grandchildren will always treasure the love she gave them. Friends may call at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- BELMONT Chapel 648 Watervliet Ave. at Fauver Thursday evening from 5 PM until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 11 AM Friday January 25 with Pastor Scott Van Dyke and Mark Chambers officiating. Interment at Beavertown Cemetery following the services.
