Dies Wednesday

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 21, for Grace E. Benbow, 78, who died Wednesday, March 18, at the Leisure Manor Nursing Home. The Rev. John Dale conducted the 1:30 p. m. service from the Webster Funeral Home with interment in the Fremont Cemetery.

Grace E. Benbow was born May 28, 1891 in Warren County, Iowa, the daughter of Henry Nicholson and May Fivecoat Nicholson. She received her formal education in Warren, County Schools and on October 25, 1910, was united in marriage with Chester Benbow. They were the parents of one daughter. Grace Benbow was a life resident of Warren and Clarke counties and was affiliated with the Fremont Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Freda Benbow of Osceola.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mabel Schaffer, and Belle Nicholson; and two brothers Harry and Elwood Nicholson.
