Doris Hughes, 43, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, after a long, hard courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her family at her home in Burleson.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Hallmark Baptist Church, 4201 W. Risinger Road in Fort Worth. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Doris worked for the Fort Worth ISD for 15 years, up until the cancer kept her from working. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Doris loved people and was an angel to her family.
