Alice F. Newcomer, age 68, of Fayetteville, died January 7, 2010. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and loved life to the fullest. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Harold W. "Buddy" Newcomer, and parents Mr. and Mrs. C.B. (Thelma) Morgan. She is survived by her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie (Stacy) Barber of Fayetteville; son Mr. and Mrs. Bradley (Tammy) Newcomer of Fayetteville; grandchildren Max Barber, Eli Barber, Tyler Newcomer and Braden Newcomer of Fayetteville, sisters Norma Wilkinson of Fayetteville, Doris Light of Florida, brothers Gene Morgan of Newnan, Raymond Morgan of Jonesboro, Bill Morgan of Arizona, an uncle and aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 9, 2010 from 2-4:00 pm and 6-8:00 pm at the Carl J. Mowell and Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Steve Roach officiating. Burial will follow at College Park City Cemetery in College Park.
