"Alfred T. Neville, 80, 70 McNeal Ave., a retired cook, died yesterday in the Bremerton Convalescent Center.
Mr. Neville was born in Hassel, Mont., April 29, 1888. He was a cook in the old Roosevelt Hospital in Bremerton for several years before he went to Elma (Grays Harbor County) where he was a cook in the Oakhurst Sanitarium. He retired in 1954 due to illness.
He spent his younger life in Hassel, Mont., and lived in Seattle for many years before coming to Bremerton for the first time during World War II.
Mr. Neville was a member of the Masonic Lodge 52, and the Culinary Alliance, both of Aberdeen. He also was a member of the Senior Citizens Club and the Westpark Christian Church in Bremerton.
He is survived by his widow, Myrtle, of the family home; two daughters, Mrs. Mable Lund of Edmonds, and Mrs. Marguerite Coleman of Seattle; a son, Carl Neville of Colorado; three sisters, Beatrice Harris of Bremerton, Edith Hugulet of Dillon, Mont., and Nellie Toman of Hemet, Calif.; two brothers, Ted Warren and V. Warren, both of Helena, Mont.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the Beitz Funeral Home, Seattle.
The family suggests memorials to the Westpark Christian Church."
