Zora M. Neville Evertsen

Zora M. Neville Evertsen, 91, went to the arms of Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 9, 2005 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of David Samuel and Carrie Call Neville, born on January 23, 1914. Zora married Peter Andrew Evertsen on December 16, 1931 in Ogden, Utah. Zora worked as a cook at the Ogden Airport Cafe, as well as Mattie's Cafe in Roy. Zora enjoyed woodworking, leatherwork, oil painting, and doll collecting. She also loved being a mother to her five children and especially loved spending time with her 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Zora believed in her Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of the Pentecostal faith. We loved you mother, grandmother and will always miss your smiling face dearly. Thank you for always having a wonderful sense of humor. Your legacy will live on.

She is survived by her sons Eldred (Elli) Evertsen, Santa Monica, CA; Lathair Evertsen, Hanna, WY; Gearith Evertsen, Taylor, UT; Brent (Susie) Evertsen, Thayne, WY; and daughter Lalie (Barry) Howard, Taylor, UT; sisters, Eulalie (Tom) Lightfoot, Delma Hogge. Best of friends Marlene Falleroni, Wenda Terkelson, Victoria Tester and Dave Fowler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her brother Herman Neville, one brother in law Gerald Hogge, one daughter-in-law, Elaine Evertsen, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family gives special thanks to Vista Care and Wasatch Care Center.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at 1:00 at Leavitt's Mortuary. Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. prior to the services.

Interment at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park.
