Ellen, aka Georgia Ellen Wright was the youngest of six children born to Herbert Arnold Neudorff and Martha Augusta Nash.

Ellen passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a short fight with cancer. She single-handedly raised five children with love and sacrifice in Kansas City, KS. She moved to California after they were grown to be with her sisters, brothers and mother. She moved back to Kansas City, KS, 21 years ago to be closer to her children and their families. Ellen was an avid fan of KU basketball and the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs. Even in her final days, she was still aware that KU won on Sunday in the NCAA. We know she will still be watching whenever they play.

She is survived by her five children: Jack Wright and wife, Janet, of Bonner Springs, Charles "Bill" Wright and wife, Mary, of Kansas City KS, Teresa Hughes and husband, Larry of Calera, AL, Bob Wright and wife, Gloria, of Jemison, AL, and Steven Wright of the home; her sisters, Rosemary Ollison, and Julia Ann Mumper of California, and Martha Burton, of St. Joseph, MO; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren (with one more on the way).

Ellen was the sister of
William Emery Neudorff
, Herbert A. Neudorff Jr. (Katy), Julia Ann (Charles A.) Mumper, Rose Mary (Delbert) Ollison, Martha Jane (Ray) Burton.
