He was born Nov. 17, 1909, in Neubert Springs, Tenn., the son of H. F. and Lilian (Hood) Neubert, and at the age of 8 moved to the Ridge Farm area from Knoxville, Tenn. He married Mary E. Cook on July 11, 1933, in Terre Haute, Ind.; she survives.
Also surviving are: two sons, Hoyle Dixie (Monica) Neubert, of Georgetown, and Jerry Lee (Jean) Neubert, of Arlington Heights; four grandchildren, Glenna L. (Jeremiah) Turner, of Georgetown, Chris A. (Tonya) Neubert, of Georgetown, Brent C. Neubert and Lynn E. Neubert, both of Dearborn; two great-grandchildren, Preston Allen Neubert and Kaloni Rae Neubert, both of Georgetown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.
Mr. Neubert had farmed in the Ridge Farm area most of his life, and was past director of the Federal Land Bank of Danville, past director of the Ridge Farm Fire District, and past president of the Georgetown Fair. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge 332 of Danville. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening.
Services: Private family service at Leasure Funeral Home, Ridge Farm. Burial: Crown Hill Cemetery, Ridge Farm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Neubert's name to the Huntington's Disease Society of America, Illinois Chapter.
