Frieda G. Spiehs, 87, of 1109 W. Ninth, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, at her home. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Russell officiating. Burial will be in the Alda Cemetery. Visitation will be...at the Kleine Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the church.
She was born Dec. 26, 1904, in rural Hall County to John and Lena (Hann) Neubert. She attended District 28 School of Grand Island. On April 5, 1924, she married Emil Spiehs in Grand Island. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, the Ladies Platt-Duetsche Society and the Farmers Union Guild.
Survivors include a daughter, Utha? (Mrs. Elmer) Wragge of Grand Island; one brother, Glennn Neubert of Fremont; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, five sisters and one brother.
