Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home with burial in Floral Hills Gardens. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
A Brookhaven native, Mr. Netherland was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Henry T. Graves American Legion Post No. 1 and Toxie K. Stapleton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6473. He was a Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include: wife, Mary; son, Michael Netherland of Pearl; sisters, Glenda Mooney of White Bear Lake, Minn., and Elaine Fredrick of Markleville, Ind.; and brothers, Robert Netherland of Stephenville, Texas, and Boyce Netherland of Petal.
