Nancy was the daughter of Walter Margery (Walters) Nelson. A life-long resident of Harvard, Nancy worked as a homemaker, then at Christian League Inspiration House and finally for the Harvard school system. She was a member of the New Hope Community Church in Harvard and Harvard Moose Lodge Golden Agers. She also enjoyed knitting and cooking.
