(Age 96)

Passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Spokane WA. She was born to Albert O. and Ida T. Nelson on October 9, 1911 at Hinsdale MT. She was the oldest of six children.

Adeline grew up in Hinsdale. She married Clarence H. Bomsta in Saco MT on April 15, 1933, and they were blessed with 60 years together. In 1936 the couple moved to Polson MT, from there, Clarence's occupation as a pipefitter took them to many other locations in the Northwest, including Shasta CA, Kennewick WA, Prosser WA, Spokane WA.

After retirement in 1972, the couple moved back to Hinsdale, MT and lived there until moving to Grangeville ID in 1980. In 1995, Adeline moved to Spokane WA where she spent her remaining years.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, baking, dancing, singing, playing cards, and was an avid bowler and actively participated in two leagues until the Spring of 2007. She was a wonderful homemaker and an excellent seamstress. Her greatest joy was her family. Adeline was a lifelong member of Riverview Chapter O.E.S #80 and the Lutheran Church.

Adeline is survived by her daughter, Janice Eimers of Spokane WA, and her four children and their families, Michelle Eimers and her husband, Albert Lynn Williams of Moscow, Russia, Kevin Eimers and his wife, Sondra and their children Jacob and Heidi of Potlatch ID, Kimberly Eimers and her children, Ashlee and Taylor of Nampa ID, and Carol Eimers of Knoxville, TN. Also two sisters, Alma Jensen and Darlene Jones, both of Hinsdale MT, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence, her son, Ned O. Bomsta, sisters, Edith DeWalsche and Esther Lacock, and brother, Tom Nelson.

Visitation is from 12 Noon to 1 PM, Monday, September 22, 2008 at Heritage in Spokane followed by Graveside Services at 1PM at Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery in Spokane with the Rev. Tom Ledbetter officiating.
