Mary "Polly" Neighbors was the wife of Martin Barnes, both of Kentucky. Their daughter, Mary Ann Barnes, married William Jasper Mayberry.
Jasper and Mary Ann eventually settled the Pike Creek area of Shannon County and are buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Winona.
Martin Barnes re-married in 1891 to Julia (Gosnell) Bandy. He sold his farm in January of 1908 to move to Winona. He died in February of 1908. He is believed buried here as well.
