Miss Alice C. Nees, fifty-eight, died at the home of her brother-in-law, Samuel Traub, Market square, Manheim, Tuesday night of a complication of diseases after a four month's illness. She was born in Manheim a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Cox Nees and resided there all her life. She was a member of the United Brethren church. Two nieces survive, Florence Rowe and Esther Traub, both of Manheim. (Intelligencer Journal - Mar 21, 1935)
