RUBY SECKINGER NEER
KONAWA — Services for Ruby Seckinger Neer, 78, Konawa, are 2 p.m. today at Mount
Zion Christian Church, the Rev. William Ransom officiating. Burial follows at
New Bethel Cemetery, Byng.
Mrs. Neer died Jan. 24, 2004, at an Ada hospital. She was born Oct. 8, 1925, in
Garvin County to John Benjamin and Georgeanne Roberts Seckinger.
She and Harold C. Neer were married in October 1966 at Joplin, Mo. He died May 21, 1981.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Troy Taylor; her second husband, Harold Neer; three sisters, Pearl Jump, Thelma Abbott and Martha
Holbird; and two brothers, Floyd Seckinger and Elmer Seckinger.
Survivors include a son, Roy Benjamin Taylor, Konawa; two brothers, Leonard Seckinger, Konawa, and Wes Seckinger, Ada; two sisters, Margie Czerwinski, Sun Valley, Nev., and Eldora Hutchinson, Ada; five grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.
Bearers are Marty Seckinger, Monty Seckinger, Mark Shaw, Norman Honeycutt, Bobby Smith and Steve Willis.
Honorary bearers are Leonard Seckinger and Wes Seckinger.
