She was born Jan. 19, 1914, in Fairview, Wyo., to Aaron Smith Nebeker and Elizabeth Bestall Margetts Nebeker. She attended grade school in Fairview and high school in Afton, Wyo.
On Dec. 27, 1933, she married Lloyd Ephraim Scott in Pocatello. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple on May 24, 1934. He preceded her in death.
On Oct. 12, 1985, she married Lyle F. Browning in Idaho Falls. He also preceded her in death.
Nora worked as a nurse for the LDS Hospital in Idaho Falls and for Dr. Rigby in Rigby, as well as Carson Nursing Home in Rigby and the Salt Lake Stake Home. She was a member of the LDS church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning, crocheting, genealogy and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Darla Mae (Bill) Wesselman of Yuma, Ariz., Blanche "N" (Jim) Scuderi of Rexburg and Lester Lynn (Sharri) Scott of Annis, Idaho; 19 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; a son, Dee Lloyd Scott; four brothers and two sisters.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Life Care Center in Idaho Falls for the loving care they gave Nora.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main St. in Rigby. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Annis-Little Butte Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
