Della M. Defibaugh, 67, Route 36 South, Duncansville, died Thursday morning at home after an extended illness.

She was born in Blair Township, daughter of the late Chandos and Bessie (Dively) Nearhoof. She married Ronald V. Defibaugh July 28, 1962, in Vicksburg.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Tammie J. Lee, and two sons, Ronald V. Defibaugh Jr. and Gregory A. Defibaugh, all of Route 36 South, Duncansville; eight grandchildren; and three sisters: Agusta Finotti of Cleveland, Cornelia Yokum of Hollidaysburg RD and Caroline Weymert of Saxton RD.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Della formerly was employed at Tritex, Altoona. She was a 1959 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.

She enjoyed playing bingo, making crafts and doing puzzles.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday by Pastor Alfred Chamberlain. Interment will be made in Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury.
