Queen Esther Boyd, 67, Hopkinsville, no street address available, died of natural causes Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at her home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Gamble Funeral Home, with the Rev. E.A. Brown Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Spring Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
A native of Albany, Ga., she was born April 26, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Anderson and Magalene Washington Neal and was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Albany.
Survivors include her husband, Sullie James Boyd; two sons, Robert Boyd, Evansville, Ind., and Curtis Boyd, Hopkinsville; a stepson, Tony Boyd, Los Angeles, Calif; three daughters, Anita Boyd and Rachel Boyd, both of Hopkinsville, and Diane Boyd, Clarksville, Tenn.; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
