Gordon A. Nast, Jr, age 47 formerly of Oshkosh, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in Garner, MA. On July 31, 1962 he was born in Oshkosh, WI, the son of Gordon A. Nast, Sr., and Donna Jean Sontag. A graduate of Oshkosh West High School, Gordy spent 21 years in the U.S. Army and 11 years in Germany. He acquired a Masters Degree in Business Marketing in Arizona.
Survivors include his mother: Donna (Hjalmer) Olson; his father: Gordon A. Nast, Sr.; his wife: Bistra; his son: Christopher; his daughter: Brittany; his brothers: Charles (girlfriend: Carolyn Lehrer) Nast, Gary (Laurie) Nast, Timothy Slater and Michael (Linda) Slater and several nieces and nephews. Gordy was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2010 in the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive, with Rev. William Van De Kreeke officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday in the funeral home.
