Mary 'Alice' Dungan
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 1997, in Masonic & Eastern Star Home in Forest Grove for Mary ''Alice'' Dungan, who died June 16 at age 84.
Mrs. Dungan was born May 14, 1913, in Cecil. Her maiden name was Nash. She graduated from Ione High School and moved to Cottage Grove. She married George Cook in the 1930s; they later divorced. She married James Dungan in the 1950s; they later divorced. She worked at a Newberg drugstore and for the Condon Library and retired in 1975. She lived in Forest Grove since 1988.
Survivors include her brother, Norman C. Nash of California; and nieces and nephews, including Robert W. Clayton of Boring.
Interment was in Forest Grove Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the Masonic & Eastern Star Home endowment fund. Arrangements are by Forest Grove Memorial Chapel.
