Clinton "Junior" H. Nash, Jr., 81, of Xenia, IL died at 5:43 PM Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.

He was born February 9, 1930 in Pawnee County, IL to Clinton H. Nash, Sr. and Urcle (Herdes) Nash. He married Wanda Reddish on March 11, 1952 in Springfield, IL.

He was an area farmer since 1949, was of the Christian faith, and served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sgt. In the motor pool at Lackland AFB, TX from 1950-1954. He was a past Farm Bureau board member and a member of the Corn and Soybean Association. "Junior" grew up on a farm, was very devoted to his family, and was proud of the family and farm he built. He worked hard with his hands doing all the jobs around the farm, and was always willing to give neighbors a helping hand.

He is survived by his wife: Wanda Nash; 2 daughters: Linda Hurd and Brenda Crouse; 3 sisters: Dorothy Baugh, Hazel Krutsinger, and Sadie Little; 1 brother: Everett Nash; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister (Alberta Clark).

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora.

Burial will be in Golden Cemetery, Louisville, with military honors.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
